The Kaiden Project is being developed to help students share age-appropriate signals and help authorized school staff coordinate a response. The value lies in whether the concern reaches the right adult, support is recorded and follow-up occurs. Schools retain responsibility for decisions and their established safeguarding processes.
The school should be able to see who is following up, what support was agreed and when the next review is due. Students are not assets to be scored for financial recovery. Kaiden's measures focus on participation, support and the quality of follow-through.
