A repair can be performed correctly while the planned deployment remains incomplete. The next shift may not have received the revised setup. The PM task may still use the old inspection standard. A production test may have been shortened to recover the schedule.
Compare the work completed with the full corrective plan. Preserve the measurements, findings, parts history and required changes to standard work. If an upstream condition is suspected, record the evidence needed to verify that relationship.
Define the operating hours, production cycles or service interval required to judge effectiveness. A completed work order records the work. The failure family remains under review until the agreed monitoring and authorized verification support closure.
